Farewell Father

Saturday we bid our father farewell. The funeral service at Our Lady of Refuge Church was well attended by family and community alike. I for one will not soon forget the faces looking back at me as I read from Wisdom 3; my mother's wise choice. No amount of practice and rehearsal could have stayed the tears that flowed as I stood before God and man to read this epitaph.

I will miss you old man.
